People update their Twitter status for some reasons, and also stop updating for other reasons, it’s no need to surprise when you find out that someone hasn’t posted any tweets for several moths, I even find out that one of my following haven’t tweeted for more than one year!
For those who haven’t tweeted for a long time, it’s no need to follow them any more, so let’s unfollow them. Below 10 websites will let you find out that among all of your Twitter following, who have been inactive for a certain time, and let you unfollow them easily, and of course, FREE of charge.
You sign in with Twitter OAuth, select how many days your Twitter friends have been inactive since their last tweets, click the List Scale Tweeps button, then you can check and unfollow those inactive Twitter users at a time.
Just enter your Twitter username and select the inactive time, such as for the past week, for the past month, for the past year, and so on, then Twitoria will list all your following that haven’t tweeted for that long time. But you need to unfollow those inactive Twitter users one by one manually.
Go to Twitoria
Sign in with Twitter OAuth, click Manage Contacts You’re Following, and sort the results by Last, then you can see those who haven’t tweeted for a long time and unfollow them as you like.
Go to TwerpScan
Sign in with Twitter OAuth, click the Cleanup button on the top right corner, sort the list by “last tweeted”, then you will see how long your Twitter friends haven’t tweeted and unfollow any of them.

Click Scan Me Now and sign in with Twitter OAuth, later you will receive a direct message from @TheTwitCleaner, click the link in the message, then you will see how many of your friends have been not active in over a month and you can unfollow them in one click.
Sign in with Twitter OAuth or your Twitter account, select “I’m Following” and “No Tweets in the last xx days”, sort by “Last Tweet”, then you can select and unfollow any or all of them at a time.

Sign in with Twitter OAuth, Sync with Twitter, sort You Follow by Last Update, then you can see your Twitter following’s last updated status and unfollow those inactive Twitter users one by one.
9. My Cleaner
Sign in with your Twitter username and password, then you will see your following’s last Twitter status, and you can delete those who have been inactive for a long time. But My Cleaner is only workable when you have no more than 700 following.
10. Manage Twitter
Sign in with Twitter OAuth, click the Inactive button, then you will see the Twitter users that you follow have not posted in the past 30 days, then you can select and unfollow them all at a time.
