4 Free Web-based Tools for CRM
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) consists of the processes a company uses to track and organize its contacts with its current and prospective customers.
CRM is all about contacts management, so, how to manage your contacts effectively? There are quite a lot CRM softwares or websites for you to choose, but most of them have to be paid, except below 4 web-based free CRM tools:
1. Zoho
Zoho Pesonal is free, and more than a CRM tool. You can use it to upload or compose any kind of document, to import contacts from other email accounts and manage them, to hold a meeting with the people you invited, and so on. But I found out that it failed to catch the photos when importing the contacts from Gmail. And I think the HTML feature in Zoho Writer should be improved.
2. Network Hippo
The personal account in Network Hippo is free. The most interesting thing for Network Hippo is to rate your contacts by different color bars (see the above picture), and what is more, Network Hippo is workable to show the photos when importing the contacts information from Gmail.
3. FreeCRM
I think it is a good choice to use FreeCRM to arrange your daily life, though there are ads which make the design not beautiful enough. When I imported the contacts from Gmail, all the Chinese character turned to be "?", even though I choose the Source Encoding as Simple Chinese. And you can’t import the contacts from your other email accounts directly, you have to upload a VC file.
4. Gmail
Gmail will be also a good CRM tools when you used it with G-talk, Tasks, Google Document and Calendar. Yes, I use Gmail for CRM.
