Best 5 Scripts For Google+

Google+ is so popular that people have created some third-party tools to make it more interesting.

For example, you can get notifications everywhere with Surplus, reply to your friends in one click, update Twitter and Facebook on the Google+ site with these extensions, and so on.

This post will introduce another 5 tools, which are all scripts for better Google+ experience.

1. Google plus reply+

In reference to the browser extension Replies and more for Google+, google plus reply+ is a script for you to add reply buttons to Google+ posts as well as their comments.

2. Google+ Enhancer

Google+ Enhancer

Google+ Enhancer makes the Google top black bar display notifications for Gmail, Reader and Calendar, no matter what Google-website you’re on.

3. Hide G+ notification box in all Google sites except Google+

While you can get Google+ notifications everywhere with the extension Surplus, you can also hide them in all Google sites except Google+ with the script Hide G+ notification box in all Google sites except Google+.

4. Gplus_fixed_panel

gplus_fixed_panel

As the name, gplus_fixed_panel is for you to fix the Google+ top black bar, which will float on the top of the page when you scroll down or up.

5. Fixed Google+ Notification Bar (for Google Plus & Google Search)

Fixed Google+ Notification Bar (for Google Plus & Google Search)

Fixed Google+ Notification Bar (for Google Plus & Google Search) makes the Google+ notification bar (the right part of the top black bar) float on the top of the page, but different from gplus_fixed_panel, it also works on Google Search.

By the way, all the above 5 scripts are supposed to support both Firefox and Chrome, but according to my test, Google+ Enhancer was only workable for Firefox, not Chrome.

“Google+ Enhancer was only workable for Firefox, not Chrome.”

Chrome has a problem with userscripts sometimes, so the best way to get them to work on it is by installing the TamperMonkey extension and THEN installing the scripts on Chrome. It’s the only way G+ Enhancer has worked for me. Hope this helps.
