To follow sports on Twitter, you can check out Status, which is available for you to track the news, scores and stats of NFL, NBA, MLB and NCAA by creating lists.
But it will be a little boring, since all the Twitter accounts you can add to your lists are created by Status itself, which means that you can only read the sport news from Status.
Instead, you can check out Fancloud, which steams tweets from Sportswriters and Fancloud users, and you can take part in with the following 5 ways:

1. You can track particular games
Besides the news about NFL, NHL (which Status didn’t offer), MLB, NBA and NCAA, you can also track the particular match between any two teams of any game.
2. You can buy tickets
You can buy the tickets of the sport games you like from ASC.
3. You can tweet
Besides to read the tweets from Sportswriters and/or Fancloud users, you can also post, retweet, reply or favorite any tweets you like to.
4. You can read news
Besides tweets, you can also read the related news from traditional sport medias, such as Sacbee, ESPN, CBS and so on. The news page will be inserted into the Fancloud site, so that you don’t need to open a new tab in your browser.
5. You can show off
You can edit your profile and add a link to your website or blog to promote yourself, and your tweets will be delivered to the Fancloud users, too.
By the way, Fancloud said that besides Twitter, you can also connect to Facebook and update your status, but I failed to do that till this post was published.
