How To Optimize AdSense With One Click Optimizer

Google has just launched a new product One Click Optimizer, which is a help series teaching you how to choose AdSense ad locations and formats for your websites.

For One Click Optimizer, the AdSense Help center offers a clear and meaningful presentation, just as below:

We’ve provided best practices for choosing AdSense ad location and format specifically for your website. It’s a quick and easy way to improve your ad performance and revenue.

As you can see that One Click Optimizer offers two ways for you to optimize AdSense on your website:

1. Putting the AdSense ad units in the best locations,

2. Choosing The best AdSense ad unit formats.

Whether you are running a news site, a listing site, a game site, a forum or a blog, you can get specific suggestions from One Click Optimizer. Take blog for example, it has Homepage and Article Page, and for each of them, there are two different detailed suggestions, since the best AdSense ad locations and formats on a page with a left sidebar are different from those on a page with a right sidebar.

Below image shows how One Click Optimizer offers its suggestions with both pictures and text explanations:

From the above image, you can see the suggestion for a blog article page with a right sidebar, you can also click and enlarge the picture.

Although it offers the best suggestions, which may be not suitable for your own website, you need to test and choose the best AdSense ad locations and formats. One Click Optimizer also suggests you place three AdSense ad units on every page, if one of the units bring less than $1 per day, is it still necessary? Since it will affect your site outlook and page speed.
