Mashable has just announced the winners of Open Web Awards 2009, which is an “international online voting competition that covers major innovations in web technology and achievements in Social Media”.
Among those 50 winners of 50 different awards, besides some famous people, beautiful pictures, and great blogs, there are also some nice web apps which are worthy of our readers to try.
1. Social Media Gadget: WiseStamp
WiseStamp is a Firefox add-on, which lets you add your signature to the email easily.
2. Best Facebook App: Fish Wrangler
Fish Wrangle is a Facebook game and it has also won the Best Facebook Game award.
3. Best Mobile App: eBuddy
eBuddy is a famous IM service, which lets you add your Facebook, Yahoo, GTalk and other accounts together whether on your computer or mobile phone.
4. Best Mobile Based Twitter App: movatwitter.jp
Movatwitter.jp only supports Japanese, but you can tweet in English or other languages, and it is workable well on iPhone and PC.
5. Best Mobile Music Site or App: Pandora
Americans like Pandora, which is only workable in USA.
6. Best Mobile Social Network App: Facebook
There is no way for Twitter to get this award, since its mobile website is just so so.
7. Best Twitter App: Hootsuite
Hootsuite lets you manage multiple Twitter accounts as well as your Facebook, LinkedIn, and Ping.fm.
