Top 4 Mobile Social Web Apps Judged by Mashable Readers
Mashable has just published the Top 10 Mobile Social Apps Judged by Mashable Readers, among which, Twidroid, Gowalla, UberTwitter, TweetDeck, Tweetie and Hootsuite are all mobile desktop softwares, which are not related to this blog, so let’s ignore them and focus on the lest 4 web apps: Flixster, Twitter mobile version, Foursquare and Facebook.
1. Flixster
Flixster Wap site is “a movies portal”, from which you can read the latest movie news, including movie information, how many critics, how many people want to see it, etc. The web app Flixster also lets you watch the movie trailer, check the showtime near a post code area (USA only), and even buy the movie ticket on your mobile phone.
2. Twitter mobile version
I can’t believe that Twitter mobile version was the top 4 mobile social app judged by Mashable Readers, since it sucks, you know, it even has no Twitter lists support, and it was only ranked No.6 among those top 10 Twitter web apps for BlackBerry.
3. Foursquare
Foursquare is available for iPhone and Android apps, but it is also workable for mobile browsers. You and your friends can check out where each other are. But the service is only workable for USA.
4. Facebook
Facebook is no doubt a great mobile social web app, at least it is powerful than Twitter mobile version, and it was also the Best Mobile Social Network App for Mahsable’s Open Web Awards 2009.
From the Top 10 Mobile Social Apps, we can find out that most Mashable readers are from America, and most of them use iPhone, so I am begging you won’t buy the list if you are not in America or not using iPhone. But, among the above 4 web apps, I think Facebook and Flixster are worthy of a try, wherever you are or whatever mobile phone you use.
