How to Read Nearly Any eBook on Your Mobile Phone for Free

Merry Christmas!!

Whether you are rich or poor, whether you are fat or thin, whether you are tall or short, whatever, just remember to have a happy Christmas!

If you are rich, you maybe want to pay to read an ebook on a Kindle. If you are not rich, you maybe want to read a free ebook on your mobile phone without paying a penny. I am the second kind, and I do read free ebooks on my BlackBerry, only paying for the mobile GPRS charge. Below is how I make it happen.

1. Decide which book you want to read

Just spending a few seconds to think of a book you want to read.

2. Search the ebook for the book

For example, if you want to read the book ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income, just search Google for the ebook, and you will find an available place to download it.

This process is a little evil, but it is just like downloading movies with BT, not a big deal at all. If there was no BT, some people (including me) would have no way to watch the movies, and if there is no Google, some people (including me) won’t have the chance to read Problogger’s book.

3. Turn the ebook from PDF to Word

If the ebook you download is in PDF format, just turn it into DOC format, using a free online PDF to Word Converter.

4. Split the word file

Since the max size of the word file you can upload to Google Docs is 500k, if the ebook word file is larger than 500k, just split it to several smaller files. You can use the tool MS Word Split (Divide, Save) Pages Into Separate Files Software, which also can be downloaded when you search Google.

5. Upload your ebook to Google Docs

When the word files of the ebook is finished, upload it to Google Docs and put them in a same folder.

6. Just read the ebook on your mobile phone and have fun.

Now, you can read the ebook anywhere, whether on your computer, your notebook, or your mobile phone, and what is more, you can mark the ebook, just as what you will do on a paper book.

By the way, you’d better don’t share the ebook on your Google Docs, and if you share, don’t let Darren Rowse Know it. :-)

I learned a trick using the kindle software on my iPod touch. Download a sample of a book, then when it gets to the end, it has a link to buy the full version. If you click the link, it will download the book, but then it will ask if it was an accident. If you say it was an accident, then immediately quit the software and turn off your wifi the book will still be there, and you can read it until you turn your wifi back on. It’s not an incredibly elegant solution, but you can read free bestsellers.
