On every Twitter webpage, such as Home, Profile, List, etc, you can read only 20 tweets unless you click on the MORE button.
Below is a new way for you to read more tweets without clicking on the more button, and it is workable for the Home page and the Profile page.
1. To read more tweets on the Home page
After login, you can read the tweets from all your friends (following) on the Home page, which URL is as below:
http://twitter.com/
As mentioned before, you can only read 20 messages on this page at the first time visiting, to read the 21 to 40 tweets, you can just add “?page=2?” in the end of the above URL, just as below:
http://twitter.com/?page=2?
To read the next 20 tweets, just change the number 2 to 3, and so on. Since you can only read a total of 800 tweets on the Home page, so the largest number you can put behind the equal sign is 40.
2. To read more tweets on the Profile page
You can read your own tweets on the Profile page, which URL is as below:
http://twitter.com/username
To read the 21 to 40 tweets, you can also just add “?page=2?” in the end of the URL, just as below:
http://twitter.com/username?page=2?
Since you can read up to 3200 tweets on the Profile page, the largest number behind the equal sign can be 160.
Again, this way is only workable for the Home page and the Profile page, not for the List, @Reply, Search or any other Twitter webpage.
If you have less than 3200 tweets, you can also use this way to find out your first tweets easily.
