@George I see, it will be easier and faster if a translation service can translate multiple files in batches, wish there will be free online translation services to do that in future.

What I meant is translating files in batches, all I have to do is upload them and the program will queue them and translate one by one.

I have found GlobalSight, for machine translation it uses Google, PROMT or MS Translator (open source). While Systran is paid.

@All the translation services mentioned in the post are free, I don’t know what “bulk translation” mean, but I prefer to use Google Translate and Tradukka.

I use http://www.sms-translator.net/ every time I need free translation. It’s good to know I have a translator on my phone.

Thanks for including Nice Translator, I was one of the developers on the project.

We have seen that Janine is very right. Though many of our users love the interface, they have a lot of trouble with the translations.

Right now we are working on a service for human translations called lingio (ling.io). If either of you are multilingual, feel free to submit a beta request!

If what you need is to have a basic understanding of a text or just get the gist, these services can deliver. If you need something precise or well written to communicate with a client, a human translator is still the way to go. Here’s an example of a phrase translated by Google Translate into Spanish:
