Track Hurricane Sandy With Crisis Map

As a massive, late-season tropical cyclone, Hurricane Sandy has affected Jamaica, Cuba, The Bahamas, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and is currently threatening the East Coast of the United States and Eastern Canada.

Since there is no way to stop Sandy, the only way we can do is to stay away from her as far as possible, and to do so, we need to know where she is as well as where she will be in the future.

Thus, Google has launched a new map — Crisis Map, which will show you Sandy' travel agenda.

Hurricane Sandy

With the map, you can see where Sandy is now, where she will reach in the next 3 days, which areas will be affected, so on and so forth.

Instead to view all the default statuses, you can also check or uncheck the options in the right sidebar of the map, and just track Sandy with the statuses you like.

If you are living in US or CA, you can compare this Google crisis map with what you have heard or seen from some other sources and stay away from Sandy as far as possible, good luck!
