Turn 12 Photos into A Movie Online for Free with Animoto

Animoto is a website for you to turn images or video clips into a movie online, but for free account, you are only able to make a movie no more than 30 seconds, which means you can turn max 12 photos into a movie.

To make a full-length movie, you have to upgrade or to use other tools. But I think 30 secs are enough for many people, since 12Seconds.tv is only available for 12 seconds, and you know how popular it is!

Once sign in, you just need to follow the instructions step by step, and Animoto will save your steps even though you log out without saving.

The photos can be uploaded from your computer, selected from Animoto collection or retrieved from Flickr, Facebook, SmugMug, PhotoBucket or Picasa. The minimum size of photos is suggested to be 640 px * 480 px, and the DVD quality size is suggested to be 1024 px * 768 px.

After the photos are added, you can edit them a little bit, such as to add text, to rotate the photos, to make duplicated photos, and so on.

When the photos are in order, you can add MP3 music, which can be uploaded from your computer, or selected from Animoto.

Once the music is done, you can select the image pacing, choose one of the images as the video cover screen, add title, description and producer name to the video.

It will take a few minutes to create the video, but you can log out or create another new movie during the process. Animoto will send you an email when the video is finished.

When the movie is done, you can embed it in your website, send it to Youtube, share it to Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and other social media websites. You can also remix it, edit it, or even delete it.

By the way, do you like the movie embedded in this post? :-)
