Since Google is far from perfect, there is still spam in the search results. So it’s no need to be surprised when seeing a spam site, but it will be interesting if you can filter the spam site from the results.

For Google Chrome browser users, you can use the following two extensions to block sites from Google Search results:

I. Personal Blocklist

Developed by Google, the Personal Blocklist Chrome extension is available for you to block all the sites of the domains you don’t like.

The Chrome extension Search Engine Blacklist will block all the sites with the blocked domain, excluding its sub domains, for example, if you only block “google.com”, “maps.google.com” will be not blocked, and you can also search Google Books, which is different from Personal Blocklist.

4. How to show the blocked sites

To show the blocked sites, you need to remove the domain of those sites from the Search Engine Blacklist option first, or to disable the extension.

Between the above two Chrome extensions, Google’s Personal Blocklist is better, since it is easier to use, especially to unblock.
