Who Is the Largest Porn Search Engine?

The largest web applications should be the big search engines: Bing, Google and Yahoo, from which you can search those small web apps or something else, such as porn.

On December 15, TechCrunch published a post and said that Bing was “still great for porn”, since it would return “many more great results”. TechCrunch also compared Google with Bing, and said that Google search results of porn were “much less hardcore”. But I think it is nonsense. Google can’t laugh at Bing and say “Hey, I am better than you since I have less results than you”.

Did any thing change to Bing when TechCrunch said it was great for porn? No, when you search porn images today on Bing, weather on your mobile phone or computer, you will nearly get the same results, there is still hardcore. Did any thing change to Google when TechCrunch said it also offered porn images? No, nothing was changed for Google either. TechCrunch didn’t compare Bing with Yahoo, or you would see that Yahoo also had much hardcore for porn images search.

Unless those three largest search engines assign people to filter those porn images with hardcore, or ban the images search of the keyword Porn, they will always be “great for porn”. So will they like to do those changes? No, they won’t like to filter all the porn search results, or you won’t find any porn images on them today. But sometimes they have to make some filter in some countries, such as China. In China, all kinds of porn ( such as porn videos, porn magazines, porn movies, ect)  are forbidden according to the laws. So, there is no SafeSearch options for Bing China, Google China and Yahoo China. What is more, there is no any result for porn on Bing China , and no image result for porn on Yahoo China, maybe Bing and Yahoo don’t have a clear definition of porn as Google does.

So, the search engines Bing, Google and Yahoo, nearly only care about the laws of the local countries, that’s why there is no SafeSearch on Google.cn, but there are lots of porn on Google.com when SafeSearch is off.
