How To Get A Free VPN

Looking for a simple, stable and significant VPS as your web hosting? Check out DigitalOcean, only $5 per month, and you can get $10 in credit just for signing up now.

Many readers commented on this post and asked for free VPNs, even though I had made a note that I wouldn’t send any VPN service to anyone via email.

To access blocked sites, there are many free anti-censorship tools, but it seems that people like VPNs more and want an easier way to get them, so this post will explain why I won’t share any VPN via email and introduce how to get a free VPN.

I. Why I won’t send any VPN to anyone?

Up till now, dozens of comments which asked for free VPN services have been deleted according to the note, because of the following concerns:

1. I have no right

Whether these 5 or these 3, all those VPN services belong to others, not me, and I haven’t asked or received any agreement to re-share them. In order to avoid any law or ethic issue, I won’t send any VPN to anyone personally.

2. I can’t send a Free VPN via Email

Since Gmail doesn’t allow to send any “.EXE” files, even though they are compressed to “.RAR” files, I can’t send any of these VPN desktop clients to anyone via Gmail.

3. I have no any other VPNs

All the free VPNs I have used are listed here and here, I have no any other VPN services, whether free or not.

II. How to get a free VPN?

Although I haven’t and won’t send any free VPN to anyone because of the above three concerns, I hate internet censorship as you do, and there are some other ways for you to get a free VPN:

1. Direct way

For free VPN desktop clients, you can check out these 5; and for free VPN services without any installation, you can check out these 3.

Since some of those VPNs may not workable in your country or area, it is better to test them all and find the best ones for you.

2. Indirect way

Some readers said that all those VPN websites mentioned were blocked in their places, in that case, you can use online proxy tools, proxy softwares, SSH or any other anti-censorship tools on hand to visit those VPN websites.

3. Search way

If all the anti-censorship tools mentioned in this post are blocked, you can still search Google, Yahoo, Bing or some other search engines for free proxy, SSH, or even VPN.

There will be always some available free anti-censorship tools for you to visit those blocked VPN websites and get what you want.

I will continue to look for new anti-censorship tools, but I won’t send any free VPN or any other anti-censorship tool to anyone, and any comment asking for free VPN services will be deleted as usual.

Good luck to you and god damn GFW and any other censorship evils.
