Watch Southeast Asian Short Films With Viddsee

Looking for a simple, stable and significant VPS as your web hosting? Check out DigitalOcean, only $5 per month, and you can get $10 in credit just for signing up now.

Like short films from Philippines, Singapore or Thailand? You can check out Viddsee.

As a free online micro-cinema platform, Viddsee is available for you to watch and share short films from Southeast Asia only.

On the Viddsee site, you can browse all the short films by New, Popular, Genres, Topics or Channels, and you can also search for them.

During my test on Mac OS X and iOS, Viddsee is friendly for both computer and mobile (or tablet) browsers, you do not need to sign up to watch a video on Viddsee on your computer browsers, but you have to login with your Facebook account first on your mobile phone browsers, or even on your computer's zoom-out browsers, which I think is a bug.

But anyway, you can take more actions to a short film after login, such as to like it, to rate for its story, camera, acting and sound, or to comment on it.

Besides to watch those short films, you can also submit your own, whether by uploading them from your computer, or by entering their YouTube/Vimeo links.

Although Viddsee says that they "will share if there are any potential revenue opportunities with your film", you won't be able to add ads in your film as what you can do on YouTube, so I think it is better to share them on YouTube first before submitting them to Viddsee.
