Where To Change Facebook Application Settings

Looking for a simple, stable and significant VPS as your web hosting? Check out DigitalOcean, only $5 per month, and you can get $10 in credit just for signing up now.

Facebook likes changes, and it always changes whether you like or not.

One uncomfortable change for me is that Facebook remove the Application Settings item in the Account menu, as you can see from below image:

Facebook Application Settings

1. Where is the Application Settings?

Since users can still add applications, Facebook won’t drop the application settings function, so where it has been? Facebook just moves the Application Settings to the Privacy Settings menu, as you can see from below image:

2. Where to change Facebook application settings?

To edit your applications, you can click Account, then Privacy Settings, then Applications and Websites, and then Edit Settings, which will take much time and boring.

Instead to save some time, you can visit the Application Settings page by paste below URL in your browser address bar directly:

http://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications

And of course, it is still boring.

Another way to change Facebook application settings is to visit the application page and remove it. For example, to remove the Tweeter application, you can visit the application page and click the Remove Application button in the left bottom corner, as you can see from below image:

But not all application page has the Remove Application button in its page, such as Twitgether.

As a geek who like to try different things, I offen add and remove the applications again and again, which will take too much time because of Facebook’s ridiculous design where the Application Settings is hidden.

Spread the love
